BoardSource increases the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations by strengthening boards of directors through their consulting practice, publications, tools, and membership program.
Tides Center partners with BoardSource to offer our projects discounted-rate publications on a range of governance issues, such as board fundraising and building and working with an advisory board.
The Foundation Center is a leading authority on philanthropy, connecting nonprofits and the grantmakers supporting them to tools and information. Established in 1956, they operate research, education, and training programs designed to strengthen the nonprofit sector and advance philanthropy at every level.
Tides Center partners with the Foundation Center to offer all of our projects access and training on the Foundation Center’s comprehensive database on U.S. grantmakers and their grants, the Foundation Directory Online.
Give Something Back sells over 40,000 different business products and delivers them next day to businesses throughout the country. What makes Give Something Back different from the office superstores is that they donate their net profits, after taxes, to community groups working to improve the quality of life for people.
Over the past 15 they have donated over $3 million to deserving community-based groups, among them projects of Tides Center, who work in the areas of environment, public health, art and culture, human services, and education.
Groundspring.org provides simple, affordable, and integrated services to small- and medium-sized nonprofits to help them become effective users of internet technology in their fundraising and in their management of donors and supporters. Founded in 1999, Groundspring.org is a part of Network for Good and is a a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Tides Center partners with Groundspring to offer their services, including DonateNow and EmailNow, at a discount to projects.
TechSoup offers nonprofits a one-stop resource for technology needs by providing free information, resources, and support. Tides Center partners with TechSoup to provide access for all projects to their software product philanthropy service, TechSoup Stock.
Through TechSoup Stock, Tides Center projects—and all nonprofits—can access donated and discounted technology products provided by corporate and nonprofit technology partners.
