Tides Center's over 200 projects are divided into three main program areas.
- Community Development & Services projects work to reestablish the social, economic, spiritual, and cultural foundations of community.
- Environment & Health projects engage in a wide spectrum of activities to promote a healthy, just, and sustainable world.
- Projects in Policy, Strategy, & Global Initiatives Program accomplish their missions utilizing strategies such as media outreach, civic engagement, leadership development, policy research, and advocacy work, among other methods.
