Social justice
Women's Rights International works with community health workers in countries at war to document, address and prevent violence against women. The goal of our work is to support local solutions designed by the women themselves. In Liberia, West Africa, for example, traditional birth attendants use story-telling and role-playing with women in their villages to raise awareness and support collective action to stop violence against women.
