Project Word advances media diversity in the United States in two related ways: we identify and develop stories about marginalized communities—especially indigenous communities—and we help writers of color contribute to magazines, newspapers, and other media. The results: cultural leaders and writers boost their chances at reaching audiences, and editors gain better access to overlooked perspectives and communities.
