Project Description:

The Out-of-Home Youth (OHY) Field Building Project aims to support advocacy development in key states across the country to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning out-of-home youth, as well as support the development of strategic coordination between individual states and national organizations that work on these issues. Specifically, the OHY Field Building Project will provide technical assistance to local, statewide, and national organizations that advocate on behalf of LGBT youth in the child welfare, juvenile justice, and homeless youth systems in order to increase their capacity for policy change and systemic reform.
