The Longview Institute is a think tank committed to strengthening the progressive movement in the United States. Founded by seven scholars with a long history of activism, its focus is on elaborating a long term progressive vision that provide a persuasive alternative to the ideas and proposals of religious and economic conservatives. Longview seeks to build bridges to activists, policymakers, journalists, other scholars, and elected officials.
