Make a DonationInner Resilience Program -Tides Center was established in February 2002 in response to the effects that the events of September 11, 2001 had on New York City school staff and parents. Since its inception, we have offered 5,000 educators and 1,500 parents the tools, skills, and experiences necessary to strengthen their own inner resilience and to model these practices to the children in their care. Over the past five years, we have discovered that ongoing restorative work is essential to a thriving school community. Inner Resilience Program -Tides Center is supported by the generous resources of a September 11 recovery grant from the American Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund as well as other private foundations and individual donors.
