Environmental sustainability
The mission of CASBA is to further the practice of straw-bale construction by exchanging current information and practical experience, conducting research and testing, and making that body of knowledge available to working professionals and the public at large. Strawbale building is being seen as a promising alternative to conventional construction methods, both in terms of positive environmental impact and in its potential for becoming economical.
