The California E-Prescribing Consortium is a product of a California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF)-sponsored program to advance the use of e-prescribing (eRx) to achieve safe and affordable health care for all Californians. The mission of the consortium is to increase electronic prescribing among providers and pharmacies to improve patient safety, foster community-wide collaboration and increase stakeholder cost savings and efficiency.
