Project Description:

We are an educational organization with a narrow focus and an audacious mission: we develop and sustain emerging Christian leaders at seminaries anddivinity schools who will make a prophetic witness for justice, compassion,and peace. As Jesus expressed in the Beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-12) we are called to build a world free of injustice, poverty,loneliness, and greed, a world governed by a desire for justice, compassion,and peace. This is radically different from the society in which we live. By supporting tomorrow's leaders, we are raising up an articulate, progressiveChristian voice to change the tone of the national conversation nowdominated by the Christian Right.
