The mission of this ad hoc committee is limited to supporting the establishment and installation of an interpretive marker at Pier 14. The organization is intended to support the Port of San Francisco's activities in providing an interpretive marker adjacent to the now-demolished Embarcadero Freeway. The need was brought to our attention by the Port of San Francisco staff.
