To facilitate sound investment and increase funding for water; sanitation and hyiene education projects in rural; slum and peri-urban areas of the developing world in order to promote achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goal for water. Agora has already done extensive work in the water sector and we determined the need of this work as a result of our past experience. This is fundamentally an effort to build the capacity of the water sector in the United States rather than to provide direct funding for water/sanitation projects in developing countries. Agora-H2O.Org develops and executes plans to strengthen and increase the amount of funding derived from individiual donors in the water sector.
