Dropping knowledge (dk) is a global initiative to turn apathy into activity through the simple act of asking questions.
By hosting an open dialog covering the most pressing questions of our time, they aim to foster a worldwide exchange of viewpoints, ideas and people-powered solutions. Since September 2005, dropping knowledge's multi-media outreach campaign "Ask Yourself" has been empowering people to start asking questions - over 10,000 thus far. Dk's camera crews have traveled to ten countries on five continents to record the queries and concerns of people on their home turf - NGO activists, artists, students, writers, street people.
Questions submitted via www.droppingknowledge.org are posted daily. The resulting answers will form the foundation for a transparent open-source knowledge portal and living library, a powerful new resource to foster activism through dialogue. dropping knowledge abides by a CopyLeft principle of distribution. All content donated to or generated by dropping knowledge is freely available to all for all time.
Dk invites everyone to visit www.droppingknowledge.org and drop some knowledge of your own.
