Identifying the "Intangible" Benefits of Fiscal Sponsorship
Wednesday April 22, 2009 10-11:30am PST
GPUAC has been selected as a client for the Social Impact Consulting (SIC) Group, a Wharton School student leadership program. They are being tasked with two projects: (1) Develop a Fiscal Sponsorship Value Taxonomy that will standardize and quantify the "intangible" benefits member organizations receive when they subscribe to fiscal sponsorship services; and (2) develop a blueprint for conducting a cost-benefit or return-on-investment (ROI) analysis that can serve as a standardized method for evaluating the cost effectiveness of fiscal sponsorship. GPUAC would appreciate input from the National Network of Fiscal Sponsorship to help them identify a core or common list of intangible benefits that the SIC Group can begin to quantify.Online Donations for Fiscally Sponsored Projects
Thursday April 30, 2009 10-11:30am PST
Online donations for fiscally sponsored projects can be difficult to manage because multiple projects use only one tax ID and one bank account. Many online donation vendors cannot identify donations made to different projects. Representatives from Groundspring.org and Causes will demonstrate how these applications can provide access to online donations for fiscally sponsored projects. Please email us if you would like to sign up for a Hot Topic Call or receive the notes from these calls.
We are still interested in having facilitators volunteer for future Hot Topic Calls; if you are interested in moderating a Hot Topic Call, have ideas, comments or suggestions, please email Heidi Hernandez Gatty.
