Tides Center supports existing and emerging projects that share our vision of a just, healthy, and sustainable world. The services we provide enable project staff to stay focused on their missions and fundraising without compromising on the expertise needed to run day-to-day operations. By providing back office support to projects on the front lines of advancing social change, Tides Center is helping hundreds of progressive initiatives move forward.
Tides Center provides:
- A comprehensive suite of back-office services, including financial, human resource, payroll, risk and liability, compliance, and grants management services, staffed by subject matter experts with extensive experience in nonprofit operations.
- The legal framework. Tides Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, legally and financially responsible for all Tides Center projects and activities. As integral parts of Tides Center, our projects are able to receive charitable donations and grants available only to tax-exempt organizations.
- Capacity-building support. We offer our projects assistance in building the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to carry out effective progressive social change work.
